69mustang351W 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2009 Is it just screws and nuts or is it also welded
69gmachine 15 Report post Posted February 1, 2009 Just screws and nutclips. Besides the obvious ones on top, there are 2 (5/16") that go into the radiator support from the front, 2 more (1/4") that attach to the front lower valance, one (5/16) at the lower rear on the underside, and 1 (5/16") that attaches to the torque box. 69mustang351W 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2009 Ok, Im happy that its not welded. Thats a bit easier to replace then.Im not gonna replace in near future, but maybe in 10 years or something like that. Just adjusted the left headlight extension/fender fitness, and saw that the fitness wasnt very good, but ok. On the right side, it will be better. So I dont think the left fender isnt original. I guess original fenders are difficult to find and expensive to buy. I dont know were the left fender on my mustang is bought. There may be fenders which are more like the orignals on the market also.
