How is the front fenders mounted?

Recommended Posts

Just screws and nutclips. Besides the obvious ones on top, there are 2 (5/16") that go into the radiator support from the front, 2 more (1/4") that attach to the front lower valance, one (5/16) at the lower rear on the underside, and 1 (5/16") that attaches to the torque box.

Ok, Im happy that its not welded. Thats a bit easier to replace then.Im not gonna replace in near future, but maybe in 10 years or something like that. Just adjusted the left headlight extension/fender fitness, and saw that the fitness wasnt very good, but ok. On the right side, it will be better. So I dont think the left fender isnt original. I guess original fenders are difficult to find and expensive to buy. I dont know were the left fender on my mustang is bought. There may be fenders which are more like the orignals on the market also.
