wiring connection question

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Searched and searched but can't find what I am looking for so here is the question...

I have 2 bullet like male connectors,

one from the ac compressor - believe it is green

one from the floor shifter - believe it is white red strip

I also have 2 corresponding female connectors, group of connectors just prior to entering the firewall, but not sure which goes where...

So can anybody help me out with which male connects with which female.

Thanks,

Marc Cramer

Hey Marc, I don't think I'm going to be very helpful except to say the wire going to the floor shifter is probably the light which means you should be able to determine its partner by measuring 12V when you pull the light switch out to the first position.

My coupe doesn't have A/C, so I wouldn't have a clue how that is wired.

That said, I can consult my wiring diagram to confirm the red/white is for the shifter light.

There are 2 "single wires" going from the firewall that female plugs...

1. Green wire (no stripe) from firewall to the AC Compressor

2. White with red stripe from firewall to shifter single male connector... Your single female plugs come out from the firewall about 6"....

Hello,

I believe one female was green and I thought the other was a light green but could be white but really dirty.

Wasn't sure because I was having problems getting the male female to go together for the 2 green parts.

Thanks everybody.

Marc
