wantahertzdonut 10 Report post Posted May 20, 2008 I know somewhere out there is a web page with every bolt torque spec on our cars but I can't remember where it is. My searches don't get me much. If anyone knows, can you post up a link? Anyway I'm bolting the back of my car back together and since I just bought a torque wrench I want to use it! My Chilton manual doesn't give a torque spec for the U-bolts on the axle and my leaf springs did not come with any instructions regarding it. Also, is there any way to torque down the shocks? They're on that rubber bushing and I have no idea if that is supposed to be cranked down or what. Same for the sway bar bushings (front and rear). What do I do about these? wantahertzdonut 10 Report post Posted May 21, 2008 It does, thanks! I just wound up cranking the bolts down, and I'll check them again after a couple days of driving.
