fastback40 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2008 I got a leak in the rear of the motor that looks like anti freeze but can't tell for sure since it look like it might be a bit oily as well. The spot its leaving looks slightly green in color but the engine dosen't have enough miles to build up oil residue. I'm seeing the leak between the housing and engine. If it is the freeze plug has anyone used screw in. I'm just wondering if I blew one already how soon would it be to blow another one? engine is a 351 windsor-top loader tranny. fastback40 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2008 Sorry folks Just looked again and guess I couldn't tell in daylight but finally tracked the leak to the rear of my intank manifold. Well I guess I get a chance to paint it again.
james the flame 11 Report post Posted May 20, 2008 Just for your info. I have used screw in freeze plugs on several cars. A very simple fix and have had great sucess. Never had one come back or leak. Would not be afraid to use it again. James
