Where does this wire go?

I have an orange wire coming off of the back of my heater blower motor with a male bullet connector on it. I have looked in the manual to see where it goes and it appears to go back through the blower housing into the car. Can anyone tell me where it ends?? I also have a short wire on the back of the heater switch with the same male bullet connector, where does that one go? Thanks for any help you can provide! I'm about 2-3 weeks from taking my first test drive!

It goes to a shorter jumper wire that goes to the resistor attached to your heater box. Note picture. As far as the other one, I would need a better shot of it and describtion.
