has anyone seen this new engine compartment dressup trim piece?

not sure what to think about it yet myself. they have some other cool stuff, these are the people that make the 69/70 kick panel speaker pods and the package trays with speaker risers and thrid brake lights, plus other stuff as well.

Is it plastic like the other stuff? When I have seen some custom cars with home made billet pieces it looked kind of neat, I guess if your engine compartment is body color and this is painted body color too it could be neat. I might be interested in the front part only but I don't see a reason to cover the export brace really.

yep that's the one. i suppose you could cut off the export brace pieces if you wanted. i don't think i'd want one because my car is so stock looking under the hood but i thought i'd post for anyone else who might be interested. yes, it is plastic too. i like your idea about painting it body color, that could look pretty sweet.

Yeah, especially in an engine bay like Ben's. You could get a little disco ball radiator cap to top it off and everything.:whistling:
