edelbrock carb on 302 linkage pics PLEASE

hey all ive just put an aluminum intake and edelbrock carb on my 302 coupe and yes i did buy the edelbrock carb linkage for a ford

i need to see how you guys hooked up your kick down linkage and what you used for a trottle cable braket pictures PLEASE

 

part numbers would be nice to if theres something else i have to buy

For the edelbrock carb you have to buy the extra linkage adapter kit for the kick down 15-20 dollars. As for the throttle bracket you have to use the one from the factory 4 barrel carb or cut and weld the one from the 2 barrel. The 4 barrel ones are now being reproduced.

The kick down linkage adpter part # is Edelbrock 1483

i have the kickdown linkage braket didnt look like it would work so i never opened it i guess i need to duh

OK OOPS oops i got my part number wrong 1483 is the throttle braket , that i did put on my carb the other part they have says its for all non aod transmissions is the one i didnt use i looked at it again today and still cant see where that part would even fit theres nothing even close to looking like it on my car

 

could someone tell me on the kickdown is it supposed to move as soon as the throttle moves like on a mopar?

When I connected mine, I just played with it under the hood. To make it when I was 'wide open" it would kick it down. Maybe I got lucky, but mine works flawlessly.
