drip rails, windshield mouldings

Ok, Im ready for tear down, gonna paint the Mach. The thing is the WS mouldings, drip rails, quarter window trim is all in excellent shape, and I dont want to mess it up taking it off, any tips on how to get it off without destroying it? thanks

Whatever you do, dont mess up or throw away the weatherstrip channel (around the door). Its a PITA to find a replacement, theyre not made anymore. Mine were all a pain to remove and got damaged in the process.

there is a special tool you can buy to remove the windshield moldings, on the drip rails just cover the rounded end a regular can opener with masking tape and use that to remove the drip rail moldings.
