*JackBurton* 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2006 I'll update this post tomorrow with some photos. I've got my CNC master cyc installed in my mustang. For the '69 there is plenty of room for it right at the stock location. In fact the firewall inside the car lines up the backing plate so the master cyc is straight up and and down. I think someone here wanted photos of it installed. I'll get them posted sometime tuesday.
Protowrxs 111 Report post Posted November 21, 2006 Yup.. mine worked out amazingly easy. Cool to see you're moving along. I did end up making a backing plate for the inside to re-inforce the mount though. Are you building your own slave mount? That is my next step clutch wise to fit the slave to my TKO. Pictures are always welcome! -Stephen
*JackBurton* 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2006 I just got back into town. I'll shoot some photos once my new camera charges up.

Protowrxs 111 Report post Posted November 29, 2006 Are you doing a T5, Tremec or other?? I have to fab a slave mount for my TKO still... wondering if there was a pattern out there somewhere besides a T5. Pics are great. Here's how mine has turned out so far: http://www.protowrxs.com/Nolen/Stang/Rebuild/2006-08-20.asp http://www.protowrxs.com/Nolen/Stang/Rebuild/2006-08-28.asp -Stephen -Stephen

*JackBurton* 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2006 Mine is a t5z. The bracket templates are made form the write up on VMF -however I had to adjust the bracket for the slave CYC. I've updated my photo album, they can be found on page 3 and 4. The last shot on page 3 shows where I moved the bolt-hole towards the middle of the bracket. If I didn't do that the spring hole would hit the body. As far as non t5z brackets go, I haven't seen anything like that yet. http://www.1969stang.com/gallery/My1969Sportroof

Protowrxs 111 Report post Posted December 4, 2006 I see, looks good though. It appears the TKO and T5's are different on that side so I guess I'll get out the card board shortly and work up something. Until I get a flywheel and get the trans mated with a clutch I'm a little hesitant to go too far. So that is a Ron Morris crossmember? Looks pretty straight forward. Something else I have to figure out soon. Thanks! -Stephen

*JackBurton* 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2006 Yeah RonMorris x-member super straight forward. I benched pressed this into my car and the bolt holes lined straight up. oh and I found this link showing what they use for the tko http://www.autoworksracing.com/65-70%20ford_hydraulic_clutch_kits.htm it says that they use the two brackets together. My guess is that the black bracket is used to mount the t-5 bracket to the tranny.
