replacement fan blade

I currently have a 4 blade fan and want to upgrade - NPD doesn't list any fan blades for the 351w - what are you guys using and does anyone know what cross references?

Don't know about a Ford replacement but I use aftermarket from an auto parts store. They can be purchased by diameter, # of blades & pitch. To check pitch lay the fan flat & measure how high the blade is from the flat. Non AC fans are normally about 1 & 1/2 inches high, AC fans are 2 to 2 & 1/4 inches high.

 

Walker Radiator sells stainless steel blade fans for street rods & those puppies really work. Try a search engine for their web site.

 

Since you have a 4 blade I do not think you have a fan clutch which is another option. You could put a 7 blade on with a fan clutch set up which is what I run in my 69 which has factory air & does not run hot in south FL summers. Its a driver so I am in traffic with it.

I am going with a Flex-a-lite 1318 does anyone know if I can reuse the fan spacer thats on my 4 blade or do I have to buy a new one? And if I need a new one does anyone know what size?
