NPD kick panel speakers

I'm doing some bodywork now and am also cleaning out the interior. I'm missing one of the kickpanels so I'm thinking of getting the kickpanel speaker panels from NPD. Will these panels effectively disable the fresh air vent?? I really don't care for the vent as I'm going to install a/c but if the panels do disable the vent then I might as well seal up the fresh air hole under the fender right??
