Motor mount orientation

Hey, I got some almost new motor mounts from a guy who totalled his 67. They were a tad bent but I think I've pounded them back into shape well enough.. and rewelded a cracked factory weld. Anyway, I took'm all appart and put'm back together, but when I started actually putting them on the mustang to joyfully cast my gaze upon the fruits of my labor I a potential problem occured to me.

 

 

1: The motor mounts should be mirrored correct?

2: Does the longer tab that bolts to the engine block go forward or towards the back of the car?

what you have there is correct. if what you are thinking about was true there would be a left and right side motor mount and that is not the case. as long as they weren't bent too bad and can still bolt up to the block you should be fine
