Electronic / digital dashes Query

Has anyone installed / purchased a digital dash for a 1969? If so, where did you get it? How many organs did you have to pawn to buy it? And if you installed, how difficult was the installation?

I purchased a set of dakota digital gauges. You have to recondition your bezel with some plastic paint and send in the empty shell basically. By the time its all said and done your price is closer to $700.

OUCH!!!... thanks for the information. I think i'll just go with the illuminated white face gauges. 700$ is just a little too rich for a college students budget right now.... a boys gotta have his beer, ya know.

I wont say this to loud but I'm a college student also, we dont want these type of things getting out. :lol:

 

And yes wow did it hurt my budget as well as EVERYTHING i have bought for the car. But i want it to be one of a kind. I will not have much money to spend during the school year since i'll only be working part time, so i try to make all my big purchases during the summer. But yes its hard to justify it thats for sure. Try to find you a hefty sugarmoma to get that beer for ya :wink: Thats what we do here.
