need help with factory hood scoop

installed factory hood scoop on sons car this weekend, went to sit it in place and the turn signal housings are hitting the hood. had to remove them to install scoop. do i need to cut holes or do i have the wrong turn signal housings? thanks. p.s. 69 coupe/ factory 69 scoop.

you'll need holes to make it fit, just like the factory hoods had.

Might i suggest a template that is being sold on ebay for the hoodscoops. You lay that on your hood and you cut the holes for the turnsignals and tells you where the bolt holes go also. No guesswork this way and they are only $5
