*JackBurton* 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2005 I just bought a weiand stealth manifold for my 351w. What type of thermostat housing are you guys using? I don't want chrome because they leak but something with a little more bling would be great. I've seen some on summit but they're like $85.00 -$90. bnickel 10,004 Report post Posted July 24, 2005 get one for an earlier car like 65-66 hi-po 289, they don't have the provision for the ported vacuum switch like the later models. it's aluminum so you can polish it if you want as well. right now i have the chrome o-ring housing on mine but i plan on changing to the early housing at some point Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
