  1. A few months ago, I installed my new export brace prior to having shock tower bracing plates welded on. I wanted to make sure it would fit before stiffening up the towers. After the welding was complete I removed the export brace as I continued to work in the engine compartment. Now, I'm at the point where I'm ready to take the car off stands and put her back on her own feet. I planned to leave the export brace off while it goes to the body shop, because I want the shop to paint the front of the cowl and top of the pinch weld. However, should I be concerned about not having the brace installed with the full weight of the car and power train on the suspension?
