In my '69 Mach 1, I have installed a 1995 Mustang GT front engine assembly on my stroked 351W motor with a set of AFR 185 aluminum heads. The install looks fantastic. However, due to the alternator being set back so close to the passenger side valve cover a tall set of valve covers interferes with the alternator. I also have a set of stud mount roller rockers installed. To get a pair of valve covers on I have removed the baffle from my original repainted set of valve covers and they mount up and clear the stud and poly lock rocker arms without issue. Problem is I have an oil leak out of the breather / filler cap, I am assuming because the baffle has been removed. I have a PCV valve in the breather cap and I think oil is being pumped from the rocker up into the breather and it is a major drip out of the breather cap itself. I have removed the baffle from the drivers side as well, and installed a solid breather cap and it has no leak...
Does anyone have any advice on how to fix the cap issue, where to get a cap that "rejects" the oil back to the motor or a set of valve covers that will work with the 95 alternator and front engine serpentine belt assembly and stud mount roller rockers and not blow oil out??
