  1. I can't really tell what is in your picture but it sounds like you might be talking about the metal trim peice that goes across the top of the rear seat? I have the non fold down too and took a couple pictures. Made me realize now how crooked one of my trim pieces is.

You actually have yours installed incorrectly. The long metal trim goes in first and the little plastic trim pieces on each side install OVER the ends of the long metal trim.

  2. Looking great!! I have Hagerty insurance and was very upfront with them regarding the car's usage. I'm putting on just about 6K miles a year. When I get in the car there is typically no destination in mind and the only stops are made for gasoline. I just love cruising around in it aimlessly, ticking the miles by. This is my 4th season since getting it back on the road after a total restoration and I'm approaching 20K miles. Hope you're cruising yours very soon.

  3. I HATE that the antenna is on the front fender on these cars. I don't know the circumstances but when I bought my car back in the 80's the antenna was on the rear quarter. This allows you to swap it out for a retractable design, making it much easier to throw a cover on. IMO the antenna looks WAY better in the rear. My understanding is the antennas were installed at the dealer? Perhaps my antenna has always been in the back. You can barely see it in the pic.

  4. I'm running Ron Morris' coil over kit up front and Global West lowering 5 leafs with Del-A-Lum bushings and Koni classics set to full soft in the back and the ride is firm but never jarring. Front shocks are QA-1 single adjustable set 6 clicks from full soft and the springs are 475lb. I love how the car goes down the road and let me tell you, the roads in central NH are NOT smooth. 18K miles in 3 cruising seasons! What's ruining your ride is the cut front springs IMO.

  5. I went with the Holley Terminator EFI and have been extremely satisfied. It is easily the best money I've spent on the car and my favorite upgrade. I have it controlling the timing by using a MSD TFI distributor. It also controls my dual electric fans. Reaching through the window and starting the car up will not get old. Drove it to Charlotte for the 50th from NH and got 18 miles to the gallon, not bad for a 418W/TKO 600 combo pushing 515hp. You just have to get over the price, it is SOOOO worth it!!
