well i thought 18x9 would be too big but idk... for most of todays tires what you will find for size will be like 275/40/18 and 245/45/18 I think anyway b/c thats how mine are on 17's. if you are wanting something like polyglas tires, i am not sure on the size. but the tire sizes are in millimeters.
the first number -275- is the width, the second number -40- is the sidewall height, and the third is the wheel size it fits
