Okay, so (1) is the 12v constant for the radio? The mustang had an aftermarket alpine head unit installed so im assuming they cut the bullet plug off to wire up the aftermarket stereo. Poor lighting, so its possible its blue with a red stripe and just be faded from time. I'm assuming I don't need the blue wire with a red stripe because the headunit doesnt require an illumination wire. If i'm wrong im sorry lol.

Hi all :). My names johnny and I just bought my first 69 stang. Working on restoring it. So I removed the dash and I found two wires that were cut. 1.) A small gauge yellow wire with a black stripe that runs into the loom with the rest of the instrument cluster wiring. Looks like someone stripped it and had something wired to it at one time 2.) A grayish colored wire with an orange stripe that runs into the same loom. It has a wire nut on the end of it. Ive done a lot of searching and I couldn't find anything anywhere about those two.
