So your saying the folding top part lays against the brackets and only the screws through the package tray hold the seat back in place?

I am trying to re-install the non-fold down rear seat back, the metal part, in my 69 fastback. I did not remove the seat so I have no reference for re-installing it. I have the hinges bolted to the floor of the car. I cannot figure out how the part is attached to the brackets that it leans against. The holes line up, 2 on each side, but I don't know if I'm supposed to bolt them together of if it just leans against it. If anyone has pics of this it would help tremendously.
