I'm running around 4000 rpms at 70mph. Haven't had the car dyno'd yet but it'll run mid 11's or so on slicks. Unfortunately I didn't get too much info on what the previous owner had done to it as he passed away and his grandson sold it. I'm thinking 3.55 might be the way to go. Worse comes to worse I can move up to the 3.73 I guess.

I bought a 69 Sportsroof that the former owner use to drag race. Its not original 428 CJ car. I'm looking to use the car for more cruising with some freeway driving. I would like to take the car to the strip and track maybe once or twice a year. It currently has 4.11 gears in it with a 3 speed C6 trans. Trying to decide what would be the best gear for the car without losing too much on take off. I was thinking 3.73 or 3.55. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time.
