Wow, thanks for all the input what a surprise to hear from all of you, I torn down the carb cleaned it adjusted the 2 idle screws and now it idles pretty good, it's a little lumpy like it has a cam. Bob as soon as I can clean it up I will post some pics thanks again.

I just bought a 69 Mach1, has not run since 2005 went through the gas, and plugs, put on new fuel pump. I primed the carb and it starts right up, but will not idle, the motor sounds strong as long as I keep on the gas, as soon as I let off the engine dies? It has a Holley carb I think 780 double pumper, 351W four barrel motor any ideas
