  1. Things are getting intense! We rolled the motor out and started final assembly. Will not be long before dropping the motor in!
  2. Thanks for the compliment. I had to do something to get as much headroom as possible for my son as he is currently 6'6".
  3. Thanks. It’s definitely the fun stage of the build.
  4. Mike and I got the car off of rotisserie onto lift. Put front wheels on car and ready to put rear end and suspension in place. Was exciting to see new wheels on car.
  5. Front suspension assembly is underway. This is the exciting part!
  6. Car has been sprayed with lizard skin during paint. But will take under consideration. Thanks.
  7. Yes allowed me to take my time and align, mark, and drill holes without constantly dealing with it falling and clamping. Kept putting screws and bolts in place as I got them done.
  8. Thank goodness for a rotisserie while installing the one piece headliner. Gravity is a wonderful thing. The MTF headliner installed nicely and looks really nice completed. Should give my son some valuable extra headroom
  9. I use every bit of it. I don’t think you could ever make it too big!
  10. Front room is 30x40. Back room where compressor and parts shelves is 10x40. Total footprint 40x40.
  11. Pretty cool pic from last night. Mike working in blaster with car in foreground at night!
  12. SEM Hot Rod Black. Used as a replacement for the old satin black lacquer paint.
  13. Thanks. He is excited with how it turned out for sure!
  14. It is in the bay behind the door behind the blue Mach. A 68 Bullit.
  15. Mike took a cool pic today in the shop. His car body in the background with his brother’s Mach in the foreground.
  16. Actually he ended up not liking the paint cards for Alcapulco blue due to being too light as you indicated. He picked out Ultrasonic Blue. The car was originally Winter Blue. His blue is not an original Mach color. But I wanted him to own and love the color.
  17. He was not that excited when I told him the first thing we have to do is take all bolted parts off and put them away wrapped up to protect the paint during assembly.
  18. Exciting day yesterday as we stopped by and got a first look at the car after paint on the way to drop my oldest son off at college. WOW! What a nice job by Richard Vickers and his guys at Dark Forest. Get to bring it home next week.
  19. Mike and I got the seat frames restored. What a lot of work! Time to move on!
  20. I will put it in and get it working.
