wood works, i use oak 4x4 blocks or some lighter 8x8's sometimes
i did run out and buy some really good jack stands finally, was using some walmart ones for years

im around but slowwww at the car fixing activity
im working on the 66, so this is the wrong forum for it, but heres a pic from a year ago when it was painted, have alot of parts just waiting to be put on it.

Was wondering if anyone else watches that restoring show, Restoration Garage
They had a 69 Shelby, the customer wanted the stripes taken off and repainted with flames!!
I was like wow, not cool, but the car looked decent after.
Will i do flames on mine, NO................

one thing to do is go look at a bunch of newer cars in car lots, check the colors in nice weather, dark days etc.
make sure you get what you like, fortunately my 69 GT350 is going stock and i like the gulfstream color.

Looks great ! You should come to the High River show'n shine in Sept if you have it road worthy by then.can you send me the info. might have a few guys from our club who may go.
and wouldnt mind seeing the car myself.

i have seen a few kits where you retain the original crank handles, and the crank handles control the motor, you would have to run a switch to operate the passenger door.

Nice project, I have a 69 GT350 so am doing a lot of stuff soon that you are doing, which brand of fenders did you use? (hood, valances etc.?) my originals are beat to hell. I msgd cobraman as well.
