Pics of the car

Also its in the Charlotte area

The 4 rust bubble spots are maybe the size of a quarter a little bit bigger, but one has crack through.

Ive been under the car and it looks pretty solid. I am looking for a good Mach 1 in nice shape, maybe a few year old restore. It just seems like most are in the 30-40k range.
-
So I came a crossed this original 69 Mach 1 that is a 390 with a 4speed in it. The car over all is in pretty good shape with some rust around the back wheels. The interior isn't bad, but could use a little love. The motor and tranny appear to be the originals to this car and its a close ratio 4spd with the 390. I am told there was only about 1200 made with these options. The car is a T5 paint code car and doesn't look like its ever been changed color wise. So what is a good price on this? He is asking 25k for the car, but feels high since it has rust in it. Thoughts? Thanks in advance for all the help

It has 4 spots of bubble rust on it that haven't broken through. I guess I am questioning the car since he was trying to say it was a SCJ. What else was he not being honest about.
-
Well the motor isnt a SCJ, so the million dollar question - Is it still worth 15k?
-
So, if this part is there, Its a CJ or SCJ? Just want to confirm.
-
Thanks, can you send me a link to a picture, So I know what I am looking for?
-
I agree completely, I keep them in a folder in case I ever sell the car. The pics above are pretty recent from what I have been told.

He states he needs the money for his daughters college fund.
-
He was asking 22k and accepted 15k for the car, he states he has 10k in the motor. No receipts
-
But from my understanding the only way to confirm its a SCJ motor is to pull it and take it apart. Anyone have a fair value on a 69 with just a 390 in it? Might help me make a decision. IDK, I like the car for what it is, but dont want to over spend on it.

Chuck, Did you convert yours to an 8?
