Since my ECU was for a stick truck I need to ger a "dumb" transmission. I hear a C6 BB bolt patter will mount up but put the starter in the wrong spot. Going to try my c6 this weekend. I did find a adapter to fix that. If not I may look for a 5 speed out of a early cobra

Engine fits!!!! Now to fab motor mounts and find E350 oil pan and pick up.

HA! I found one for a 69 mustang from helwig suspension. I have made all my own brackets and have the location traced out where to weld. All custom. Please remember the all due to the mustang II suspension. I think it is a 1.5 or a 1.625. Engine is home. Tomorrow I am going to get it in and figure out the new motor mounts. I don't want to disturb what I have in there so I can always go back the 460 if I need to. Next I need a wiring harness to simplify the install.

Thanks guys. My 9 month old keeps me from getting to much time for the 69. But so far it has a MII front end tubular control arms. I making a bigger sway bar fit. I have a 8.8 out of a 95 in it. Going with 33 spline axles. fiberglass fenders and boss 9 hood and scoop.

to late. Picking it up tomorrow. Going to bore it. H beam rods, port it and custom cams. Then plug a custom tune in. I like the ideal of doing something other then the norm.

I have a 69 coupe that I am in the middle of doing a 460 swap with MII suspension and came across a deal on a 2000 6.8 v10 with all the wiring and ECU. My current 460 is .03 over flat top pistons ported and polished heads with fresh 3 angle and a shave and a decent cam and intake. I am on the fence about going to the V10 do to the EFI. and lack of hop up parts. I know pistons and rods are same as a 5.4. But if I got it I would port the heads and go .030 over with it. What do you guys think efi my 460 or go all out and do the V10 for the wow factor?

That is a amazing coupe! What size motor? Do I see window slats on that?

I was thinking about putting a tunnel ram on my 460 coupe. Not my first time with a T ram just not sure how it would look on a 69. my current set up wont clear my boss 9 scoop So why not go with a dual 4 set up

I am going to pick up a performer or maybe a torker II. I do like the looks of a cowl hood on the 69. Trying to find one on a coupe before I lay down the coin on a hood. I glassed cowl scoops on before but with the way our hoods are up front I don't want to mess with it. Superduty69. Sweet car!

stealth intake, MII suspension I have it as close to the cross member and rack as I can but it still sites up high. I might be able to get a drop base air breather to clear the scoop. I have a nice 750 dominator that I wanted to run and with the adapter it hits by about 1/2" or more. I am not into that big scoop on a coupe. I was thinking about it very hard but just not digging it. Thanks fordguy69

I love the look of the 9 scoop but I am having a clearance issue . Even with just my dual plane and a 4150 carb I cant run a air cleaner. So I need something bigger. cowl scoop maybe?

Any one have pictures of a 69 with a aero scoop on it one like hardwood makes( http://www.eharwood.com/catalog/SCOOPS/Aero-Scoops/AERO_III_AERO_SCOOP%2C_BOLT-ON/366 ). If I go with a 7" tall one I can run a victor type intake and my dominator

I like the looks of a race wing on coupes. I have seen a tall one on a 65 coupe set up for road race. Looked killer.

At the point I am at now I might push my rear 1/4's out or mini tub it. I have no inner fenders in yet and just put on new 1/4's. I pulled on them the other night I think I can go about 3/4-1" more if I just push the fenders out.

I have a coupe with a set of big and medium weld pro stars. They look good but I want some wider wheels all the way around with a staggered set up. I am running a MII suspension up front and a disk brake 8.8 from a 95 gt so I have to take some measurements. So I am looking to see what you guys are running.
