Progress

I used them on my deluxe door panels because they were already on the car but I am not sure if you absolutely have to use them.

I just finished up putting vintage air in my non a/c 69. There was a good bit of work involved with mounting the compressor and the behind the dash unit but I defiantly think it was worth it. Since you already have your heater box out your already one step closer. I guess you could say the system is bulky but it defiantly weighs less and takes up less space under the hood than Factory air that I have seen in cars. Vintage air is defiantly not just a bolt on kit but it is made to fit almost and engine application since you have to drill your own holes to mount the compressor to head. I would recommend it because it is a well made system. I looked at the different options and didn't go with a under the dash unit because I've got a console so it wouldn't fit. I also didn't like the way the big box looked.

I defiantly feel your pain I just finished glueing in my drivers window for the second time and it is one major headache. Still don't think I have it perfect but I think it's going to work. I adjusted my quarter windows by loosing the two bolts at the bottom and moving it so it matched the door window but I could not adjust the rod at the top any. I believe the parts that you have circled are just to hang the door panels on.

I think these guys have you steered In the right direction. Don't forget about a gasket set for the heads intake and valve covers. Reason why I say that is I know absolutely nothing about Denmark and how easy it is to get American engine parts there.

I've got one from autozone on my 351 and so far it's working great (only has 200 miles on it). They had it in stock and if it goes bad i'll just pull it off and go get another because I believe it has a lifetime warranty. The water pump we put on a 427fe we built about 10 years ago came from autozone and its still running strong.

Thanks guys. I was hoping to make it to a local car show tomorrow but I'm still missing the hood, mirrors, hood scoop, stripes, and the drivers door glass. It's coming together though.

Put some more body panels on yesterday

I put some speaker in the package tray today. I finally found some 4x10's with grills. They were some cheap brand that my local RadioShack had but I think they sound pretty good or they will at least do me for now. I mounted them using the 2 outside holes in the package tray. The holes were the perfect size for the 4x10's. I will try to post some pictures tomorrow.
Thanks,
Drew

I put a mechanical oil pressure gauge in the place of the old oil pressure sending unit and also a mechanical water temp gauge. I mounted them in a shelby gauge pod in the console. So far I like them being there. I know where your coming from with the lights though. We just recently replaced a few bulbs in the instrument cluster so that all of my other lights would work. We got everything working except for the right turn signal indicator. I believe I damaged my printed circuit because it was working until I started replacing other bulbs and putting the dash in but it's not to big of a deal because I am going to also use the turn signal indicators in the hood scoop. Good luck with yours I know it can be a pain in the butt.

I am not 100 percent sure that it is original to the car because my dad has accumulated parts from several 69s over the years but to answer your question the best that I can remember the only light that comes on with the key in the on position before starting is the ALT light.

Hello 1969mustang,Recently replaced my speakers in the package tray.
I got a set from Mustangs Unlimited.
I must admit - not too crazy about the new grille BUT
I used my old ones.
These speakers fit well BUT I am still listening to 8-tracks
so you likely will not get a HUGE sound from them.
One other thought -back in the day - -many people had
speakers that sat on top of the package tray - -I never really liked
the look.
Just one guys thoughts
Print Dad
Thanks Print Dad, do you know what size they are?
What wheels should I get?? I am torn ...
