69 mustang, im replacing the drivers side door window, it is the glue in style.
I was able to pick up a good used window that still had the metal brackets glued to the bottom.
I got the window in attached it to the regulator, installed the hook type guides that ride on the 2 posts.
When I roll the window all the way down to where it wont go any further because it hits the ribber stop , the top of the window is still sticking slightly out the top of the door.
and
when i roll the window all the way up (as far as the regulator will let me , with the door open) the window is too high and will actually hit the roof line and shatter if I were to slam the door with the window up.
Is there some type of adjustment that im not doing? does the regulator have to be in a specific position when I connect it to the window??
thanks in advance for any advice

1970 Boss 302:
Original Authentic Boss 302, “G” code 1970 Boss 302, original grabber blue car with shaker hood scoop, . Original CA car with 62k original miles and is currently 98% restored. Correct, engine has been rebuilt with zero miles since rebuild , break in time only, the VIN stamped on the back of the block matches the VIN of the car, still has the very hard to find parts ; Boss carb , mech fuel pump, distributor, shaker, rev limiter, space saver spare tire, and tach. PWR Disc brakes. front and rear spoilers, Original build sheet from Ford , and a deluxe marti report. Car has not been driven since start of restoration last 17 years. Grabber blue paint is appx 5 yrs old , looks good but is not show quality, some areas may need touched up to be show car quality. Driver rear Qtr was professionally replaced prior to painting. Originally a 3.91 rear gear, currently has 4.11. Most everything is new, professionally restored instrument cluster, brand new ‘Ford tooling’ dash pad carpet, door panels, headliner, entire underneath of car is all new and spotless. Needed to complete the restoration: final wiring in engine compartment, misc wiring, finish fuel line, install driveshaft, some brake line routing, re upholster seats, misc interior and some other odds and ends. Parts Missing that I am aware of ; speedo reduction unit, master cylinder, smog pump, some exterior window trim, maybe a few other misc, I was told it has the wrong snorkle on the air cleaner, and should have a 2 groove pulley instead of 3 .
$54K , NO TRADES. ...... PRICE REDUCTION 5/17/2012 .... SEE BELOW
PM me for more info or to schedule a viewing
Car is located near Pomona CA which is about 35 east of Los Angeles.
