69 Mustang Mach 1. Car is completely apart and ready to be restored. Has been in the garage for 15+ years. New floor pans, trunk pans, tail light panel and quarter panel patch. Very little rust and a solid body for this age of car. No motor or windshield. Biggest problem is cant find my dash tag, but vin number is stamped on both fender aprons and on my clear title which shows I've owned the car since early to mid 80's, the vin# on title matches the fender aprons. Nevertheless I have purchased a Marti Report and it matches my car. Don't really know what the car worth, but had a couple of restorers give me an ideal. I'm sure i don't have 5,000 or 6,000 in it over the years. Been dissasembled over 17 years.

I'm thinking we paid between 2,000 to 3,000 for it, not really sure. Don't remember if the vin was on it then or not. I just took my title to the courthouse and they gave me plates and sent me a new title. They didnt come and inspect the car or nothing.

Just got off phone with Indiana bmv and they said i could sell it no problem since i have title. But new owner would be assigned a state issued vin. I guess I'm just out of luck far as value goes.I still have no ideal what its worth. Probally better out putting half decent paint job on it and make it into a daily driver or a flower pot holder in the yard. Wow, hard lession learned.

They told me that was illegal. I'm not sure what i should do. I found a place online that makes them for $300.00

Yes, I'm dealing with the state on that. they want to change my vin # to something else.
