  1. I'm trying to see if I can sell this without putting a motor and trans in it. It is perfectly good running condition now. I am pulling the motor and trans if I can sell the car without them. The car is tagged for two years right now. It is dark green with black leather interior. The interior also has a brushed aluminum interior trim kit. It has the clutch pedal in it so you can install a 5 speed or auto trans. It has 3.73 gears in the rear. The hood is a Cervinis ram air cowl hood. The fuel pump is a 255lph in tank. The car will also come with radiator, power steering pump, alt. and accessories brackets to just drop the motor and trans in. Like I said the car is running now. I can take you for a ride in it. I am going to just pull the motor and trans out and sell like it is. I would like to get $1500. accepting offers. I can also include a newly rebuilt c4 trans and a complete 289 (302 block) motor for an extra $500. I can also sell the car with the 347 I built. Some info in my sig. It has around 2000 miles on it. I can sell the motor as whole or shortblock. call Rich at 302-632-8725 or email me for pics at backpacking1@verizon.net Located just outside Dover, DE.

It makes about 475hp. $2500 for shortblock. email me at backpacking1@verizon.net I'm located in Hartly, DE I would prefer pickup but can ship. Prices are negotiable. Reasonable offers accepted.
  3. It is a 302 block with an aod. I'm pulling it out of my 94gt to drop in my 69. It makes about 475hp. I have short tubes on it now but I don't see any exhaust kits for the 69 that bolt up to shorty headers so I was going to put longtubes on it.
  4. I plan on doing the 69 shelby scoops, decklid with end caps, fenders and probably some sort of scoop to resemble the 68 hood. I don't like the 69-79 shelby hood. I have all of the interior. It is black. I am unsure what color it will be painted. I have several motors but am unsure what to put in it. I have a 351w 351c and a 347 stroker that I'm pulling out of my 94gt. If possible I'm selling my 94gt as a roller for $1500 with extras. I have alot of cleveland parts I am selling as well. I need to post them in the classifieds. It is going to be a long project but in the end it will be pretty cool I think. Your cougar build sounds cool too.
  5. I'm putting an aod trans with a 302 (347) in my 69 stang. Anybody know makes some longtubes that will bolt up to the 302 and clear the aod? Manufacturer, part #?
  6. Thanks bnickel. I didn't realize that there were two different cars made. I just happen to find the pics I posted and thought it would be cool to do since I always loved the shelbys but can't afford a fastback. Those pics make me want to do a similiar build even more. I know the hornet was based on a 68. It won't be an exact replica. I'm not trying to spend every last dime to make an exact replica. I just thought it would be cool to make a shelby coupe since they didn't make one. If I could afford to make a replica I would have even bought a fastback but this is what I got to work with. My favorite car ia a 67-68 GT500. Thanks
  7. Yes you are correct. I am building based on the 68 green hornet. The only thing I'm not going to be able to replicate is the hood as far as I know. Here are a couple pics of what I'm going to do.
  8. could you email me some pics to backpacking1@verizon.net
  9. Just wanted to show off my new to me 69. Found this site and will be using it through my buildup. I plan to put all the 69 shelby equipment on this coupe. I know they didn't make a shelby coupe but they did make a prototype notchback. I have a 94 gt as well that I race and show.
