The forum doesn't like the file format - I'll keep working on adding them here, but feel free to message me with an email or number to mail/text them to.

Hi,
I have an aftermarket hood with a mach style scoop mounted. Holes were not cut for signals, but I have the template. I've decided I would rather have a shaker set up.
I have the scoop grill, 302 emblems too.
Located in Greensburg pa. $300 or best offer. I all send pics if interested.

What brand of stripper did you use? I have new doors, fender, hood..all i need to strip is the top, quarters and trunk..Probably should knock it out myself
When stripping mine, I was able to strip the whole car in one weekend, approx 15-20 hours. Stripper from the big box store, cheap brushes, and razor blades. Then I came back, sanded, then a light coat of rattle can primer to keep from rusting. That's what my paint/body shop guy told me to do anyway, saved a bit of money doing it that way. Was also able to see what rust or bondo areas the car might have, which mine had none and could take pics for documentation.

I keep tossing the idea back and forth of making my scoop functional. It's not for clearance issues, I just think it would be "cool" but if there are no real performance gains I dont know.
I also thought about putting some screen in the turn signal spaces, cutting the hole, and sealing the air cleaner to the hood to get the down draft off the windshield...
Has anyone ever done an official test to see where the air pressure is on the hood? I recall seeing a thread here that went back and forth over "dead air" at that spot on the hood..

Awesome. I'm glad you're keeping the updates coming, thanks for that!

I work for a company that does custom T's mugs, etc - I'm a fan of our tri-blends. no matter what the temperature is they're comfy. That's a nice style of mug, i wish we carried those!

I never found mine. Carpet, seats, headliner, all out and inspected... I'm hoping maybe it's still wrapped around some wiring..

Hello,
So I found a guy locally that's offering a T5, bellhousing, clutch, flywheel, clutch pedal and shifter for $850
It was in another guy's 69 coupe behind a 351. That dude is swapping out for a big block and wants something stronger than the T5.
Sounds like a good deal to me, it's at a local shop of dudes that do nothing but build muscle cars and specifically mustangs.
Looking on Ebay - i see some rebuilt trannies for less - but this one is claimed to have been rebuilt and only driven for about three summers with less than 20K on the tranny.
I haven't gone to look at it yet... but I'm leaning pretty hard toward picking it up because I want to do the swap in my coupe.
How does that sound for a package deal?
What specifically should I peak at?
Any other places I should look to source a rebuilt T5 for a swap? Ebay, known websites, etc?
thanks for the insight!

I saw somewhere that listed these for a 69 - I'd like to put something like this in my coupe - 6x9's in the package tray mounted from underneath and component 5's in the doors and this for the bass

on the topic of hardware kits - does anyone supply a suspension hardware kit? Most of the suspension/steering kits I see don't have all the hardware... I have all the bolts and nuts I could just take to the hardware store, but if someone has already done the work... ?

Danno,
Tried to send you a message but the site says you can't receive any more - what you do is awesome, and I hope to use your services when I get to that point in the build.
I plan on building a system i can actually hear over the car though - so I assume I'll need more than just a small amp - can anyone verify whether or not the factory head units are good or should I get something with the built in preamps and sub outs ?

you can see a small repair that was made to the scoop - looks like it still needs a little fill and smooth
