miketyler 15 Report post Posted March 8, 2014 Has anyone done a conversion right? I have a HID light setup from an Infiniti with D2S bulbs, ballasts and ignitors. However I have never liked the bug-eye look of a projector installed in a 7" globe and was considering a correct reflector solution retrofit into a 7" housing. This type solution would only offer low beam lighting and high beams would have to be added using halogens. I am not keen on adding fog lamps either for this purpose so I will probably just sell the HID parts I have collected. I was wondering if anyone has attempted such a project adding HID lighting the right way on their car.
miketyler 15 Report post Posted March 8, 2014 Apparently Sylvania used to make these for H6024 globe and was part of their Xenarc line. These provided street legal HID with halogen brights in one housing. Apparently no longer produced. These are the H6054 version
