Im gonna try to save at least 10 post so I can do a whole section of the history of the car till current day and post a lot of pics with all my DIY stuff mistake and learning curve

I would really really apreciate if no one post on this thread till its finished

PLEASE PM ME GUYS

OK got this lil beast in this cond:

the owner told us that the engine was in bad cond

4 burned spark cables you could see at night how the spark hit the headers

long headers they hit the floor once and a while

the autolite carb had some parts broken

one good thing I liked is that it had minimal rust on body

after this I started to read about mustangs and started to write a to do list

the first thing I read was about the shelby drop

bought a template from a guy on fleabay and drilled

IMG_3808_zpscd40a9c9.jpg

at the moment I had low cash after the buy, a baby on the way and I have a expensive hobby "paintball"

did the drop and assemble everything

I didnt liked the car how it felt

started to read more and more on forums and books at B & N

the mechanic told me to start looking engine problems

so cleaned the spark plugs the timing was all crazy so we decided to open the 302 the timing chain had 1 tooth misplaced, the guy told me the engine was in bad cond after he sent it to rebuild it

his loss my gain

now the engine was running strong

after 2 weeks after fixing the 302 a plastic burned smell started after I took the car for street rides

we found that the header was burning the clutch cable

img_2337.jpg

so I found some info on how to build a hydraulic clutch

but my transmision was a newer ver and the adapters that daze made for T5 dint fit my bell housing

I just made this L bracket 2x2 outside

I drilled and taped for 3/8 screws Im planing to S.S. helicoil them in the future

then I made a back tray

some guys here told me to get JBA 1650-S but they are crazy expensive

1650s.jpg

but I found on ebay 94 mustang headers 5.0 for 50 bucks shipped

they are now installed on my mustang and I dont have any complains at all they even look if they were made for this type of car, it gives a great engine sound better than my long headers
