Arvidsson 22 Report post Posted July 11, 2013 Hey Have a 69 I bought last christmas. And I believe there is some work done on the engine (a 351W 4v). Is there any way I can see, preferebly from the outside, what heads I´ve got? Thanks all you Mustang gurus out there!! /Mattias
LindenBruce 27 Report post Posted July 11, 2013 With the heads installed on the engine along with the intake manifold most likely not. You might get lucky by pulling a valve cover and depending on the head and the year of manufacture the engine size they were originally made for may be cast into the top. But the casting number to make a positive ID is underneath near a pushrod hole. Check out this link for an idea of what I'm talking about.
