LindenBruce 27 Report post Posted June 19, 2011 Are you saying the steering wheel is binding when you turn the wheels? Was it the steering coupler rubber that you changed? If this is the case you have an alignment issue between your steering wheel shaft and the input to the steering gear box. You can try and loosen the bolts holding the steering gear box to the frame and reposition the box and see if that helps. You can do the same with your steering column where it bolts to the firewall.
