suzanne 10 Report post Posted September 19, 2008 I haven't used the site for along time but several of you helped me in the past so I wanted to ask a question. The fan for the heater (without A/C) in my 1969 Mustang stopped working. I checked the two fuses and they are ok. I don't know anything about electrical work so I thought I would replace the fan blower switch first however I have searched the computer for a 1969 Mustang fan switch and cannot find any. I checked with Ford and their books don't go back that for. Any suggestions. Have a great day. David
Justafordguy 10 Report post Posted September 21, 2008 I would check it with a meter first.
suzanne 10 Report post Posted September 21, 2008 Thank you for suggestion but I have no knowledge of electrical. What type of meter should I get? Have a great day. David
Justafordguy 10 Report post Posted September 22, 2008 You could use a simple 12v test light for a basic test but a volt meter will give you more options. You can get an inexpensive volt/ohm meter at radio shack. Most auto parts stores also have them.
