Body work and primer..

Recommended Posts

Im going to start working on the small chips and rust spots on my 69,,, so far I have just been sanding them out and priming over the bare metal, but I need to start building the low spots,, so what is the best filler to buy for this,, or should I just leave it and let the body guys do everything.. I figure I dont want to spend any more than $4000 on the paint/body and so far I need a patch pannel for the rear quarter at the wheel lip (usual spot), a new tail light pannel installed,, and just about 12-15 small cracks/chips that are down to metal and primed..

The body is really straight with not much wrong with it.. so what filler/ primer can I get for a quality job, done by me... Rattle Can primer?

I dont own a compressor, but may get one..
