FYI - 69 Kick panels

Don't know if anyone else has ever noticed this (I didn't until I was restoring the Grande), but there appears to be three different kick panels for '69 Mustangs. This is what my friend, Bruce Klier, and I came up with.

 

C9ZB-DW first generation 3 hole wide lip

C9ZB-KW 2nd gen 2 hole narrow lip, maybe Jan 69

C9ZB-LW 3rd gen 3 hole reinforced, narrow lip 5/69 had them

C9ZB-MW '70 narrow lip, 2 hole

 

Also the repros that are now being offered are a mixture. They have a wide lip and two mounting holes.

 

Just something to think about.
