CandyApple 10 Report post Posted February 19, 2007 Hi all Who knows, was there a special dealer options for the 1969 dual exhaust system for a Mach 1 M Code ? Usually, the muffler was transverse installed. I'm looking for a dealer options with 2 mufflers like the 70's Mach 1 exhaust system. bnickel 10,004 Report post Posted February 21, 2007 sometimes the owner would remove the transverse muffler and just run the reonators instead which were basically just like a glass pack. it's possible that a dealer would have installed a different system at the owner's request/expense but there wasn't anything that was really offered, unless it was something that was available from the Ford Power Parts catalog. most likely any system other than that would have been sent to a local exhaust shop to be done.
