Header help needed ...

Just recently purchased a 69. All original, great shape. Engine was recently rebuilt. I've replace the 2 BBL with a new 4 BBL. Am replacing the single exhaust with a dual. My question is this. I have no clue which tranny I have, I keep seeing ads for headers that exclude a C6 A/T, but am not sure if I have that one. I do have an A/T, but what exactily is the C6, and secondly, which header, for the price is the best bet? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

first we need to know what engine you have. but i can make it a bit more simple for you.

 

302-C4 automatic

351-FMX automatic

390-C6 automatic

428-C6 automatic

 

now this is only if the car is as original as you say. if someone has changed the trans in the past then all this goes out the window.

Thanks bnickel. It is indeed the original engine. Rebuilt 302.

 

Now for the header question .... Any suggestions? How do Hooker rate? Patriot? Flowmaster?
