mustangmanny 10 Report post Posted July 12, 2006 I went to install my new Holley 650 double pumper over the weekend and noticed that my factory throttle bracket wont fit under the rear bowl. Is there an aftermarket bracket I need to buy? Has anyone experienced this when going from a stock carb to a larger Holley? Thanks for any info, Manny
bnickel 10,004 Report post Posted July 12, 2006 i had the same problem with my demon. i spent some quality time with a hammer, an anvil and the factory throttle cable bracket. i can also re-use the bracket with a different carb later by putting a little shape back in the bracket
69 Sportsroof 10 Report post Posted July 13, 2006 I'm using a Lokkar cable and bracket for the throttle and kickdown. Easy to install and looks and works great.
