fastback40 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2006 What the heck is a rv cam? I'm hearing this term alot and I'm building my engine. What cams would be best for a 351 windsor bored 60 over, 4 speed and still be streetable. I don't want to fund the gas companies but still sound kewl. Can't find anything online bad about rv cams(action:shrugging shoulders).:confused1:
69mach1t5 104 Report post Posted April 3, 2006 Basically its a cam with rpm HP range of 2500-5000 range with good idle, Then theres bracket racing 2500- 6000 with good to fair idle, and so on .Id get the next higher than RV if you want that rumble or thump cam
