Garage find: What's it worth?

I made a trip to a small town and found 3 mustangs. This one looks like it really needs rescuing. What do you think it's worth?

I'm not sure yet, still waiting on a call. The husband was at work when I went by but the wife sounded very excited about selling it. I'm just looking for a ballpark amount of what I should be willing to pay.

Yeh if its anything reasonable i can't see not getting it. Although all we have to go on is the outside photos. Hows the floors? Frame rails? Trunk?

if rust isn't a big issue i'd offer them maybe 2-4 grand depending on overall condition that we can't really see and how much you like the car.

Hahahaha.... thats how I got my 73 mustang. I saw it for sale in the local paper, and when I went to look at it, the husband was perplexed, "For sale? My mustang? What?!?" He went back inside the house and I heard some heated words being exchanged between him and a females voice.

 

Two mins later, he came back to the door with a defeated look on his face and showed me the mustang.

 

Apparently, she got tired of it occupying the garage and put it in the paper because he wouldn't do anything with it.
