I'm sure what I did, but my screen view shrunk. Where before the forum nearly filled my screen, the forum is now using only half of my screen. Any ideas on how to change the view size?

Thanks Gentlemen. I did think of glueing them in after I posted. I am putting an insulating mat on the floor as well, so they won't be coming out anytime soon. Now, back to work. :thumbup1:

I am putting my car together and I put the hole covers in with the screws I got with the body kit from AMK. The problem I have is the screws go through the floor and extend down over 1/4". It looks like a good place to cut myself. The easy fix is to grind off the part sticking down, but is this correct? :confused1:

Thanks for the help. I tried it with the "legs" over the bumper like you said. It just didn't look right. I'll give it another look.

Does anyone have a picture of the rear license plate light mounted. My car came in pieces and I'm not sure how the light mounts. It looks like it bolts to the bumper, but the light I have has a shield that appears to block the light from shining down. I have a diagram in the shop manual, but that just shows about where it goes.
I searched and didn't find my answer.

Now dark blue, the same as or even darker then the carpet, may the way to go. I might have to look into dye colors. Again, this isn't a restoration so I might have to break some rules. Another question since you mention kick panels. I have the standard door panels which leaves the bottom portion of the door metal exposed. I assume that should be painted the same color as the interior, in this case dark blue to match the carpet? I know the Deluxe interior has carpet in this area.

There is a light tan aftermarket pad available to dye the color desired. If I decide to go with the light blue I'll exchange the black one. Not to offend anyone, but the light blue pad with the woodgrain gauge panel seen above didn't really "speak" to me. I am going with a 6 gauge aftermarket panel, so I can make that any color I want. Something to think about.

Thanks for the replies and information. I have a new black dash pad still in the box. I guess I have a decision to make. As has been said before, it's my car, I can do what I want. It's not a restoration, so I guess I can break a rule. Thanks again.

I have a winter blue fastback, now white, and it has the light blue interior. The dash pad is black. As far as I know the dash pad is original. I've seen black and blue on these cars, so which is correct.
I saw on Jeff Lilly's restoration site a 69 Cougar in white with the same light blue interior and that car has the black dash pad.

Thank you jmlay. Zoom setting was the problem. I thought I looked at that, but I didn't change the settings. Problem Solved. Thanks again.
