  1. thats the spot! You will need the extention for the oil pickup or just get a manual gauge and screw it into the hole like I did. You may want to clean the paint from where the oil filter screws in so that you dont get paint chips in your oil later on..

Aside from that, prime the oil pump with a drill bit and then just try to crank it. If it catches you may have to move the timing up and down a little to get it running right. Then bring it up to 2000rpm for 15 minutes or so to break the cam in.

  2. I picked up some kitty hair fiberglass bondo and added a little meat to the old broken plastic bezel.. It worked well.. I just cut the bezel to fit, put in the cage wrapped with aluminum foil so the bondo didnt stick and manufactured it by hand.. Then shaved it down with the dremmel tool and wrapped it in Vynil..

  3. In other words, get under there and pull the vaccume hose off of where it is connected to the trans.. Get a flat head screwdriver and back out the screw a little, take it for a drive and if it doesnt change back it out some more... Or screw it in.. I dont remember which one tells it to shift later.. But that should take care of it.. Then adjust your kickdown linkage..

  4. I guess I need to get out there and check it out in person again.. I saw it about 2 weeks ago.. Still amazed at the size of the turbo.. When do you ship it out??

Dustin and Rich got my Intake and carb for me in like 3 hours from the time I called.. I've got the CPR Street Machine decal in the rear window of my coupe and its not coming off any time soon. the help from those two have made my build a lot easier, thats for sure..
