  1. Well the more I got to thinking about it and the lack of good bolt on pull slave cylinder options, and how much my power brake booster overhangs the equalizer bar opening, I decided to try and make what I have work by eliminating all the slop from the OEM z-bar setup, strengthen all the linkage, eliminate all the friction/binding points, and also get some extra adjust-ability to actually be able to set the clutch pedal height and the proper engagement point as well. Barillaro Speed Emporium sells what looks like a pretty sweet linkage kit that corrects all these factory shortcomings. So for a little under $150, figured why not give it a try and if it doesn't work out then I'll jump in and try to fab up a custom hyd kit. Ordered the parts today, so I'll let you all know how it works out by next week. http://www.barillarospeed.net/clutch-linkage-related.html
  2. I'm looking for a decent hydraulic clutch setup for my 69 Mustang. Right now it's got the old style 157 tooth bellhousing and z-bar right now but after building my 351w stroker and putting a high performance Kevlar clutch in it, the pedal is way too stiff for my liking. All the kits I've found are designed for the late model cable clutch setup not my early ford with aTKO-500 and old type z-bar bellhousing. Found a pretty decent looking master cylinder kit from modern driveline but its not going to bolt right in due to interference from my 9" power brake booster and will need some work relocating it an inch or so towards the fender and away from the booster. http://www.moderndriveline.com/catalog/hydraulic_masters.htm but as far as the bellhousing end, does anyone have some good tips rigging up a pull style slave cylinder to an old bellhousing?
