I've Been poking around this sight for some time learning a great deal from everyone. I figured since I plan on getting the convertible on the road this spring, I might as well give a progress report. The last picture is how I received her in 2010.

thanks Doug, this is great info. balancer came with the engine, Ididnt think about the pulley. It's a non power steering or A/C vehicle so it shouldn't to hard to set up.

Ended up swapping the timing chain cover and using a 69 style pump; have been told this will work.

Hello, I am changing the motor in my 69 convertible from the original 302 to a 1985 351w. I know the water pumps are different but can someone refer me to the correct water pump used for this change?

Got a new roller tool box(top and bottom), a couple of air tools (grinder, tin snips and cut off). I guess I did alright!!
