  1. You have? At what point during the build did you see it? They sure have replaced some metal on the body.

     

    I think today I might pop those rubber grommets on the pillar and try to have a look inside.

    I saw it before they sent it to Florida to all of that work. The owner and his wife had done a bit of body work to begin with.


  2. Big day, the car is no longer all bare steel. Feels great to see it at this point.

    I took the car in and sand blasted it with a big blaster, ran over the whole thing with 80grit and a DA and laid down some Dupont Corlar 824s epoxy.

    The underside is going to get treated with some muck looking grey like it would have in dearborn... Nothing high dollar.

  4. Well the sheet metal is all fit, with the help from a guy at work, its dialed in to where there is one shim under the rear of the hood, and thats it! not bad for re-pop metal.

    The headlight buckets are fit up better, but will still need a coat of mud to get a perfect transition.

    So I marked where the doors should go and removed all the sheet metal...again....so that I could blast it with a big sand blaster.
