Welcome! Yes I see you over on VMF as well. Will be great to have your knowledge here!
-
12 o'clock and 3 o'clock are alterator brackets, 6 o'clock is the bracket that bolts to the end of the head for mounting of those brackets, and 9 o'clock is the throttle cable bracket that bolts to the intakeAh, yes throttle cable brkt it is!
-
I probably can spare one. PM me.
-
Yeah any fastback was called a sportroof including bosses, grandes and normal "fastbacks"Not grandes, those were an option on coupes only.
-
Those are all smallblock alternator brackets from around 73, except the one of the middle left looks like maybe a PS hose support bracket or something dont exactly recognize that one.
you can decode the part numbers just google them.
-
Most everything already said here is correct. I want to point out to some that are using Deluxe and Mach 1 as the same, that is not correct. There was standard, deluxe (or grande as mentioned), and mach upholstery.

I am pretty sure all of the pullies are Windsor; which is great for my corral, not as great for selling.
The distributors are all 289 or 302 but still good if someone needs a date code correct on an early car.
-
I will check the 4100's, I did see the date codes, one is 65 one is 66.
I will go through the pullies this weekend. Here's about half of them.
-
I would buy that interior in a heartbeat.
-
This past weekend I had to buy a truck load of Ford parts to get some hipo parts that I wanted. So I have a mess of stuff to go through including a small amount of Nos engine parts. If you are looking for anything in particular or see something that interests you please reply with questions, and I will get photos of those first, check part numbers, investigate further, etc. More to come as I dig and identify.

Heres a repro, http://www.cjponyparts.com/package-tray-metal-fastback-1969-1970/p/PT8/
But I have one cut for speakers already that I would sell. Shoot me a PM offer. I am in 12972 NY zip for shipping reference.

Sweet! The stance is perfect imo... Leave it! Congrats!
-
Double check the trans crossmember too. I know C4 and toploaders use the same crossmember with sm blocks but for some reason I remember a six cylinder I had having a bit different looking crossmember. Didnt see it mentioned, maybe someone else knows one way or the other.
-
If you are moving it 1/2", the holes will likely be next to each other and not touch. I would fill the hole like you do a rosette/plug weld. Use copper backing and just fill the hole with a weld puddle. Grind flush and you are good to go.+1... They can move for sure.
-
Coupe or fb? I have a set for a fb I could part with. I can dig them out and see what they look like.
-
+1!
are you sure the block plate is the right year? The later models had a smaller starter. -
69-73 sb with manual and auto both show the same plate: C9DZ-7007-A
-
Can you slot hinge holes, mill the back side of the bottom hinge, etc?
-
You probably have the wrong year and/or model bracket. Do you know what it is from? Can you post a picture?
-
I had been watching that build for some time... I REALLY like it and am not afraid to say so!
-
Um, cable cutters, lol. No substitute. I use them at work on stainless aircraft cables.
-
I had a car where some yoyo welded in a different rear dif. It was off exactly an inch. I got bigger backspaced wheels and ran a spacer on the shallow side. Worked fine until the pinion snapped off because the angle was also set wrong. Kept the engine and trans and sold the rest.
frame rail/ torque box help

Dynacorn makes the best torque box imo. Look for unwelded (ships in pieces), easier to align, coat inside and weld solidly. Make sure to request the diagonal brace (to the floor support) and the ebrake bracket as well for drivers side. Search here for dynacorn and torque box and you will find many threads on this. My build thread has a drivers install with pictures of this.
My project has been idle due to finances, other projects, busy work schedule and lack of room. I should be getting back on it this summer.
